| Requirements | Minimum General Experience: At least ten (10) years developing and delivering IT Architectures or IT systems design/ engineering services or supported that activity with an organization. Functional Responsibility: Experience designing and deploying Cisco routing/switching technologies as well as incorporating Cisco firewalls into a large, diverse network. Experience with network management tools such as SolarWinds. Experience with logging tools such as Splunk. Experience creating / maintaining detailed system / network diagrams. Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks. Experience with enterprise networking including virtual networking experience (VxLAN, MPLS, with segment routing, traffic management, QoS) is a plus. Configuring firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security. Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting. Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases. Demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Evaluates and recommends solutions and strategies to program leadership. |
